A music lover would want to make music all the time. He thinks of music, dreams of music, reads about music and wakes up thinking about music. Well, he basically spends all his time studying music.

A music lover beings making music at home. He buys equipment, starts recording at home and works on improving his skills with understanding all the nuances with music and sound.

When you’re recording, mixing or mastering, working towards the best quality should always be the top priority – “This is amazing!” is something we all love to hear. Music Maker India is an effort to aggregate advice from home recording artists, producers, independent musicians to help budding talents realize their dreams.

 Who am I?

My name is Santosh Subramanian and I’m the founder of Music Maker India. I’m an Independent Musician and Composer and I make a living by recording music at home, putting them online, doing live shows and so on.

I’ve always wanted to learn more, meet new people and collaborate with more artists. Music Maker India is an opportunity to help share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years in addition to learning more from everyone who’s involved with music and sound production.

I love contemplative and thoughtful music. My biggest influences are Progressive, Psychedelic Rock, European Melodic Death and Black Metal, Electronic music, non-commercial Nu-Jazz, Hindustani, Carnatic and Western Classical music, Folk music. Maybe more 

I’m still learning and I hope to make some great sounding music someday!
